Jumbo cross-stitch uses canvas similar to tapestry canvas (in some cases the holes are larger than standard) and yarn the thickness of tapestry wool (i.e. not stranded embroidery cotton). But it is stitched with the traditional X-shaped cross-stitch.

Except where otherwise stated, canvas is 100% cotton and pre-printed, and the yarn is 100% acrylic.
